From a tender age, Celarity Associate Recruiter Ben Foster knew his destiny was to seek the "perfect pitch." He just wasn't quite certain what that meant.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Ben arrived in Minnesota as an infant, biding his time until he could embark upon his quest. Initially, he pitched baseball in the streets. But shattered car windshields and disgruntled neighbors put an end to that venture. Next, Ben searched for perfect tonal quality among his neighbors' doorbells, a pastime that regrettably devolved into sessions of "Ding, Dong, Ditch." Ben's fellow citizens were unamused. Briefly, Ben pitched meatball subs for "Blimpie," his first employer. The results were...messy at best.
So Ben headed west, earning his B.A. from the University of Colorado and touring with a rock band. To keep up his musical stardom, Ben formed his own a cappella band, Up ‘til 2, upon his return to Minnesota. And for a brief time, Ben believed he'd discovered the "perfect pitch." Alas, though the spotlight was gratifying, the metaphorical grail of the "perfect pitch" still eluded him.
Subsequently, Ben launched his recruiting career, working for a consulting firm, a financial company, and at long last, Celarity. Finally, Ben had found it. And it wasn't pitching a tent, or the pitch of a roof, or the fevered pitch he felt whenever it was time for American Idol (though that was close.)
