Get ready for a night of AMA – Speed Mentoring— in our popular group networking format! This month we’re focusing on helping college marketing students and professionals connect with industry mentors. Attend this “can’t-miss” event and meet more people in one evening than in a month of traditional networking. It’s fun and easy!
Here’s how Group Speed Mentoring works: The MNAMA will help connect students and professionals with different marketing experts in areas of agencies, marketing research, medical, social media, retail and more. Start at a table with five to six peers and an industry professional. Give your elevator pitch and share your networking goal. Ten minutes will be allotted for your peers and the mentor to interact with you—sharing ideas, information, and resources that match your goals. Once everyone at the table has given an elevator pitch and the mentor has spoke, you will rotate to a new table and have the opportunity to meet a new mentor, and learn about another area of the marketing industry. If you would like to continue to seek advice from one of the marketing experts you meet, it is up to you to connect after the event.
