As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in determining the financial feasibility of projects by calculating the costs involved in materials, transport, labor, and equipment.
You will be responsible for researching and analyzing various cost factors, establishing strong relationships with contractors and vendors, and obtaining competitive quotes from multiple suppliers. Your ability to assess project risks and prepare detailed proposals will be essential in securing new contracts and ensuring projects remain within budget.
Additionally, you will monitor costs throughout the project’s lifecycle, making adjustments as necessary to align with the original estimates. Your expertise will support our team in delivering successful projects while maintaining financial control and maximizing profitability.

Day in the Life of an Estimator:
- Research material, transport, labor, and equipment costs.
- Establish and maintain contractor and vendor relationships.
- Obtain and compare quotes from multiple suppliers and contractors.
- Assess project risk levels and prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with estimates.
Qualifications of an Estimator:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as an estimator.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, estimating software, and Salesforce.com.
- Ability to read architectural plans and develop accurate cost estimates.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and effective time management.
