As a Purchasing Associate, you will support procurement strategies by executing tactical sourcing and managing day-to-day operations across multiple verticals. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and divisional partners to streamline purchasing processes, improve cycle times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will also be responsible for managing purchase orders, resolving supplier issues, and driving cost-saving initiatives in alignment with “One Procurement” strategies. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and strong communication skills will help you ensure continuous improvement across procurement functions.

Day in the Life of a Purchasing Associate:
- Manage day-to-day supply issues, including purchase order processing and resolution.
- Support category strategy execution and sourcing, adhering to strategic guidelines.
- Lead issue resolution on supplier and invoice errors, ensuring service continuity.
- Collaborate with divisional partners to monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
- Regularly communicate with suppliers and customers to maintain strong service levels.
Qualifications of a Purchasing Associate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience; CPM certification preferred.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet programs; skilled in data analysis.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and people skills.
- Interdisciplinary, intercultural, and networking abilities.
