Are you looking to be considered an expert in your field? There certainly aren’t any online-courses or certifications you can complete in order to be considered a Thought Leader. But, you can become one by implementing on-going personal branding strategies and taking advantage of your social networks. Creating a master plan that will market your skills and expand your professional connections over time will help give you the edge you need in order to become a Thought Leader.
Here are a few tips on how you can become an expert in your field:
1. Establish Your Personal Brand
Personal branding is a great way to build trust and for you to showcase your authenticity to a diverse audience. Your brand comes from your goals, key values, skills, and passion. These things will have a unique twist that no one else can claim. So, ensure that you are marketing yourself to the fullest.
Start out by enhancing your existing social media platforms – especially LinkedIn. Your profile should be up-to-date and should portray you as a professional, read this for tips! 2. Introduce Yourself to Anyone and Everyone

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technology, and best practices will be key.
